Well after the storms through last night we were woken up by the clear and loud call of the cuckoo, was very close and think most probably from Captains Pool area, up I got, cup of brew and off for a walkabout, very boggy in places, didn't go too far as weather looked very iffy, from the top of the carrot field I heard the cuckoo again, sounded like from Shenstone area.
The muck heaps were a bit ripe this morning, glad I don't live too close to that little lot.
Looking over the Grey Lady's Cloisters, red sky in the morning!
From top of carrot field
Growing on the muck heaps, lots of them and millions of little flies to go with them.
Two yellowhammers, but too far for a decent photo.
Looking towards Offmore and with rumbles of thunder I decided to head back home.
Popped out after breakfast, most of these are un-edited and un-named, not the best photos though but hopefully get some better ones over the next couple of months.
Popped 3 new rocks out over the fields.
Blue Tit playing peek a boo
Dunnock singing it's heart out.
Good to see the Brown Argus again and in exactly the same spot.
