Burst of sunshine

Dull morning so only a very quick walk over the fields, but as expected very quiet, chaffinches and quite a lot of goldfinches, up by Edna's stump.
Sadly I didn't see anything unusual.
On the afternoon I spotted several nuthatches in the reserve by Captain's, but not a lot else, also saw 7 or 8 wagtails by Captain's
2 female and 1 male gooseanders on the pool along with Cormorant, no swans today though.

So dull today, thankfully the sun popped out for a couple of minutes this afternoon, picked for the BBC weather.

One from the garden this morning.

My friend Mike spotted this one, a juvenile herring gull, thanks for the ID Jason Kernohan

As above

Female Chaffinch in very poor light,

Distant shot of a Cormorant on Captain's.
