Swans

Early walk up the pool but so quiet and perhaps a touch too dark to see anything, but I was rewarded to see a Muntjac deer come strolling down from Ghost Lane, then slowly sauntered into the nature reserve.
Promising start to the morning, but this didn't last long, within 15 minutes of taking this shot we were back to a dull grey sky and some rain, oh dear.

I did pop up for a walkabout later on though, although still dull the pool had a cygnet and a swan visiting, the swan didn't stay long, managed a few in flight shots although not the best thanks to the poor light.
Three female gooseanders were present and wandered all around the pool.
The black headed gull was still present along with several Canadian Geese and the usual mallards.
A short stroll up Ghost Lane and around the carrot field revealed very little except for a few chaffinch and goldfinch.
Supposed to be getting some colder weather soon so hopefully a few sunrise shots may be coming along,
