Signs of an Owl

Quiet day, started off by Captain's, no sign of Gooseanders again, quite a few Canadian Geese around, heron perched on top of a tree on the island for ages, but not much else about.

Over the fields was also quiet, farmer cutting hedges in Carrot field, so very quiet there, same goes for Stanklyn, spookily quiet in the Dead Man's allotment, so I spent a bit of time hunting round the nature reserve, very busy in there but light awful for photography and the only pics I got the birds were a good way off,  watched a oouple of treecreepers, couple nuthatch, lots of goldfinch, blackbirds, tits and chaffinch, never mind the weather has to improve soon. (I hope)

I did find this pellet which I believe to be from an Owl but possibly a corvid.

Black headed gull still on Captain's.

Treecreeper in the distance.
