Miserable grey January day, ventured out and walked quite a way but all my photos are in the vicinity of Captain's Pool.
Treecreeper in the Nature reserve, which was quite but not surprising as they are cutting down some trees in there to let more light reach the ground.

Cormorant and Black headed gull on the pool and the usual mallards, no sign of the Gooseanders though.
Didn't see anything moving over the fields or the Stanklyn lane area apart from pigeons and crows.
Dead Man's allotment was oh so quiet, a good stroll up to the top of Heath Lane revealed nothing at all apart from about 100 pigeons perched high up in the Caravan field next to the college.
Few chaffinch and goldfinches around Gulliver's Grave.

And so back home to a nice hot coffee.

Coal Tit
A very active Tree Creeper in the reserve by the pool, sadly this is the best shot I managed, too many twigs in the way.
Hoping for better tomorrow, the weather has to improve sometime, hasn't it?
