Frosty sunrise

Had a stroll up the pool early on but as the sun doesn't reach there too early it was fairly dull, could't see anything different on there, most of the birds and ducks were gathered round the unfrozen part, the majority of the pool was frozen solid.
A stroll over the fields, well a quick stroll as it was fairly nippy and I still have the remains of my cold, so a few photos of my favourite tree for a change!
The hedgerow there was very busy with small birds, mainly chaffinch from what I could tell.
The Dead man's allotment was very quiet once again, hoping something may pop in though one of the days, a quick stroll along Stanklyn Lane didn't prove very fruitful either, so made my way back home, did see couple small flocks at the Captain's end of the carrot field, saw couple of chubby birds take off out of the weeds which I think may have been bullfinches.

My favourite tree by Edna's Grave.

Walkabout 2, more small birds about this time, still nowt on Captain's, saw 2 bullfinch perched perfectly in the weeds down the Stanklyn end of the carrot field, turned camera on and along came a dog chasing a ball, oh well the fields are there for everyone's pleasure.
Lots of Chaffinch and Linnets about, checked out the allotment again, apart from couple buzzards circling overhead it was still very quiet there.

Walkabout 3, but only round the reserve and the Pool, did see a Greater Spotted Woodpecker but couldn't get a clear view for a photo, fair few squirrels about this afternoon, still quiet on the pool.

That was a bum landing
