Spennells and Kinver Edge

Monday February 4th
Walk up to Captain's and no change there, very quiet, not even the heron in sight, buzzards active again in Stanklyn Lane, small flocks active in the carrot field.

Herring Gull washing.

Who threw the food in?

Being a nice bright day I had already decided I was going to pop over to Kinver Edge for a change of scenery, bird life over there was very quiet, but I was mainly after some landscapes.
The first pic is from Caunsall, been meaning to take a photo of this tree for quite a while now and as the light was good I stopped off and took photo with 12-24 lens.
Caunsall
Was very spring like over the edge, few more days like this and the adders should be out, had a good walkabout and took many photos, nothing special but was a lovely warm walk.
Kinver Edge

Late afternoon and I was back over the fields, headed straight for this spot in the hope of a good sunset and golden hour, sunset was okay but nothing special for the golden hour.

Took the crystal ball with me tonight

Tuesday Feb 5th
Very dull start and only managed to get out once today, Captain's was again very very quiet, still frozen over, Carrot fields were very quiet as was Stanklyn Lane, couldn't stay out too long as we are having some work done at home.
Lots of water in the reserve next to Captain's Pool, water was gushing through very fast down the small waterfall.
