Been a dull old week

Well here we are, another typical April, rain rain and more rain, plus having the grandchildren for a couple of days has restricted my movement with the camera.
First three pics are from having a play with affinity photo, dumped photoshop about a month agon and still no regrets.

A walkabout over the fields Sunday morning, but was oh so quiet, saw quite a few jays again and of course the nuthatch was still working on the nest, think I know where there could possibly be another nest or two, but will be leaving them in peace.

This is the 4th green at Kiddy golf club taken with my trusty 15 year old infrared camera, will be using this a lot more providing we get some sunny days.

Was nice on Thursday so had a walk along the canal at Cookley and Caunsall, always enjoy a walk around here.

A stroll in Chaddesley Woods with the grand daughters, revealed that it was still a quiet place, did see quite a few Brimstones and Commas, also this flower on a larch branch. It was very muddy still when venturing off the main path.

Friday, bright but cloudy, so we went for our first visit to Baggeridge Park, no photos but will return on a better day, followed this by a walk around Spennells, wow it was oh so quiet for brd life, saw my mate's lad Pete sewing the spring barley, saw a buzzard and that was the highlight of the day.
